Neither I nor the author have been able to contact the publisher. The company appears to have folded its tent and disappeared. Numerous emails of mine to various publishers who might know something have all gone unanswered. It's really a pity.

How about we collectively write something useful
like what the Linux Documentation Project has done.

I always welcome more and better documentation! The trouble with MFC is, I am not an expert at using it, so any documentation I wrote about it would likely be inadequate.
