I've made a mirror to ftp.digitalmars.com, sometimes download speed from DM's ftp is too poor(about 100 kb/s).

It syncs with original ftp every 10 mins just checks for modified/new files(simply asks for the file list, there is no negative effects on dm's ftp).

It's here:
http://mirror.ftp.digitalmars.acomirei.ru/

One can download files from acomirei at 100 mbit/s.
Maybe i have a chance to be official mirror of DM.

Hi,

I believe the DigitalMars FTP was recently upgraded, and the speeds are much better now. DMD archives are also hosted on downloads.dlang.org (the download page now points there), which is on an Amazon cloud server.

Also, in case you weren't aware, you should know that DMD is not redistributable. I believe you must get written permission from Walter Bright if you wish to redistribute DMD.
