It was about time, and now it's finally here.  Complete with an Application class (requiring a small change to existing code), some basic common dialog stuff, and an updated winapi module.

It's geared towards DMD 0.89, but'll work in any version from 0.82 onwards with a little tweak (see readme.txt).
