Why Undig project is halted?
At least is anyone updating it when a new compiler version is released?
Should I be disencouranged of using it (because it will be deprecated in a near future)?

I think Undig is great!!!

The code available on dsource.org compiles without problems on DMD 0.95. I don't know if Justin or Joel will add new things to unDig (or even Burton, if he still cares about it), but at least you have there a library that keeps working even if it has its flaws. Now, if you like it that much, maybe you can try to improve it.

I add a few things as I need them. So can anyone else who uses it. But it is growing at snales pace. Considering the interest in it, a lot of little changes could add up to a lot.
