There is no interface for this yet, but you can manually edit styles.xml. Find your style (for D it's called cpp) and edit the color you don't like... I don't put any info how to do it because I hope to make the interface in near releases.

Yes, there are few settings. I suggest you use the project wizard. It will do the settings for you. Then you can add your own files if have such and you will not need to change anything.
