My hope is that his search leads him to the right path (I believe there is only one). There are many "answers" in this world that do not satisfy the question. The task is not easy and few are sensitive to it.

Yes, I couldn't say it better.

By request I've translated the notes and todo-s for akide in English (they are messy of course).

I could say much more simpler way but it wouldn't be so correct (also it is still true). The coding has been addiction for me and addictions are bad.

Trading one addiction for another is rarely a good idea. The cold hard fact of the matter is that the only way to trully break an addiction of any kind is through personal effort mixed with blood, sweat, and tears. Without a will to win, there is no winning. That's why addictions are so horrid for us humans: they tend to pick on the weakest part of our natures. There /is/ a way out, though.

Besides, I don't think coding addiction can ever be trully cured. Does anybody here know of a successful case? ;)

You speak wisdom! :)
That's also the only true way to achieve the great goals. (sorry for my poor english, I wish I could find better words!)

What works for one person doesn't necessarily work for another. And priorities change.

For example I hope Walter will love 'const' one day.
