I hardly dare to ask, but has there been any progress publishing the videos of the presentations of the D Conference this year 2007, which doesn't happen to last long anymore.

Sigh. I've been trying to find out, but my last few emails to the guy have gone unanswered. I'll have to wander to his office one day when I have some spare time to camp out or something.

Sorry it's taking so long. Rather embarassing. Everything else about the conference went so smoothly.

If something I care about had to go wrong, it would be hard to find something that would be less disruptive

Except for those that couldn't or didn't attend. For them, the videos are the only way to get to the real meat of what was talked about. The slides are just a hint.

And no, I'm not withholding the videos as an incentive to get more people to attend next year. :)

Oh. Oh. When, where, who?!?!? Please tell me it a bit earlier (I had to cut class to make it last time).

No details, but assume same time, same place... one year later (give or take a few weeks.. shout now if you are passionate about any particular dates -- preferably via private email). I've not really put any thought into it other than that I'm willing to do it all again.

For dates, probably a week earlier than this past year, as my classes began about two days after the D conf.

Same here. Mid-August would be *perfect*.

I had hoped the conference would take place in Europe in 2008. :(
