I finally got a good build on my STLport.  I finally deleted the stlport that came with the purchased package and downloaded and installd 453 from the web site.  It built correctly first time around.

I do have one apparent learning curve issue with the namespace std - - I think I saw a switch on one of the files to turn off namespaces.  Can't remember whare I saw it though.  Apparently, this is a function for vackwaeds compatibility back to the 98 standard ANSI.  It seem slike the downloads would have namespaces turned on instead of coming configured for the older version of the standard.

So now that i have 453 going ok, I'll focus on getting DMC to work with Boost 135.
