Just wondering why there isn't a big shiny donation button on the D website. I noted there were T-shirts for sale but no button. Is there a particular reason for this? Walter if you don't need the extra bit of income yourself it could always be used to fund other D related projects.

If so perhaps there could be monthly themes (ie pay for D advertising in this magazine, trip for Walter to come and speak at X university etc...).

I'm sure there's some sort of starkly donation button website that would work for D. If it had some sort of counter on it it may even make the web sight look more active.

Yeah, sorry,

If it had some sort of donations counter on the donation button, that may even make the web sight look more active.

There is one for dsource. And DM is a for-
profit company while dsource is not.

Since Digital Mars is a business, I don't think it's right to have a donation button. But if you'd like to help out, by all means buy the t-shirt or coffee cup, http://www.digitalmars.com/gift/index.html
or when you want to buy something from Amazon, go to Amazon through one of the Amazon referral links http://www.digitalmars.com/bibliography.html
Amazon will give Digital Mars the credit even if you buy something other than the referral link points to, as long as the link was your entry to the Amazon site.

Or even better, buy DMC++ http://www.digitalmars.com/shop.html or the Extended Utility Package http://www.digitalmars.com/eup.html

If you have any other product ideas for DM to make some money, I'm interested!

Just curious. Isn't a bit odd for there to be Digital Mars analog clock? :-)

I like analog clocks. I can read them without my glasses on!
