i'm arne simon, and i want gdc lead a helping, because D is a very promesing language and it's realy sad that there is no up-to-date compiler for 64-bit systems out there.

so, where to start?

LDC is an up-to-date D compiler for 64bit systems.
But if you want to help gdc you can merge the newest DMD front-end into
gdc.
