I confirm that the bug I addressed to this group some days ago has now been fixed by with release of the new beta.

I thank you Walter a bunch for his immediate attention to this critical bug I should have been addressed years ago :-(

The bug was also in the D compiler. It's in the test suite now so it shouldn't happen again. I'm quite surprised it hasn't come up before.
