Today TDPL monthly sales in February climbed to a 12-month high. This is
in all likelihood due to the increasing attention D has received lately,
and a reflection of all the great work done by our community.
Congratulations to all contributors!

Awesome!

I started reading this book a couple of days ago and one thing that I liked on this book, is not only about D, but about design and implementation too.

I can only give relative numbers. For example, Amazon sales are about one fifth of those of "Head First Java" 2nd edition, the Java bestseller.

Is that by contract or because you don't know/want to tell numbers ?

BTW, it is great to see that the book is selling and that people get interested in D.

Some of both. Sales information is traditionally guarded closely and only disclosed on terrific numbers (e.g. "one million readers" etc). Also, I don't have data outside Amazon, and on Amazon only for a limited time back.

I now realize that the Kindle sales have also topped a 12-month record, so this is possibly the best-selling month ever since TDPL has been printed (the Kindle edition was released later).

Yes, this month has seen a ton of great things happening to D. Let's make this the worst month going forward :o).

Not surprising considering how good the book is!
Andrei, you should put the book in eBook format somewhere. I have a paper-
copy, but would definitely buy the EPUB version. Or, make it possible to
have an EPUB version if one buys paper-copy, or Kindle version...

I'll ask my editor.
