I'm wondering if SciD is still maintained because the last commit to this repo is a while ago now...

Is there a fork, or some other repo that is more up to date I should look at?

The author has his email on his github profile page so you could
email him. I'm pretty sure he's on here a lot too so you could
wait and see if he spots this.
