Idea: how about pasting all of that stuff in a wiki page? Then we'd link the wikipage from the homepage, and links work by clicking on them etc. -- Andrei

I'm not submitting a pull request for my proposed "fix", because it doesn't fix the underlying issue(s). It's just a hacky workaround.
