AFAIK, good json parser is still in a review queue together with std.xml2 :)

That takes me here: https://github.com/DerelictOrg/DerelictSDL2
and some other related projects.
In fact, I can't easily find documentation about this SDL from google.

Dubconf seems to me a good replacement name for the format.

Hilarous, I guess you didn't read the topic at all...

To be fair, it's 20 pages long.

We don't do name calling here. Please stop it.

A 20-page bikeshedding bonanza! Atypical D forums...and a pity that the priorities of core D devs is diverted to this spittle of a forum post when D has much bigger fish to fry.

JSON/SDLang both have zero friction; if you use Dub+JSON you can become fluent Dub+SDLang in less than 1 minute for the first time. Pick one for your project and move on, both are supported.

I've read it all. But I'm not joining the group in arguing against the format. And yes, someone said .dubconf should be an analog for .gitconfig. Hilarious.

Just to focus on my objection: the actual new name is not as important as picking something that's not SDL.

SDL and D already give plenty of useful search results for game programming.

Please change the name.
