I'm going to be there from the 19th to the 24th, in case there's any interest.

I'd love to attend, but I won't be in Tokyo :-(

I'll make the trip.

Hi, happy holidays and welcome to Tokyo!
I saw @D_Programming's tweet and I can go and say hi!

Currently, dlang-jp, D user group in Japan, is holding a monthly half-day mini tech camp to develop each own D project with 5-6 people at co-working space. So, dlang-jp folks can join the meetup, I think.
But presentation-style meetup has not been held for 2 years and we need to find a conference room and speakers.

Please let me know if you have other issues.

We aren't looking to do any sort of presentation. We're just hanging out for a few hours. I'm flying over from Seoul just for the day and heading back Sunday morning.

We'll be starting at a Starbucks in Asakusa in the early afternoon. After that, there are no concrete plans, but I expect we'll hang out well into the evening.

Anyone interested in the details can email me at aldacron@gmail.com.

I got it! "informal" means Starbucks.

Hi, I'm a dlang-jp member. I can go to a meet up too!

I live near Asakusa. There are two Starbucks in Asakusa.
But I think Starbucks are always crowded.

If you want to go to a place fit for meet up,
we can guide to other cafes in Asakusa or a little away
place (Jimbocho dlang-jp base).

Enjoy your stay in Tokyo!

We likely won't be at Starbucks too long. We're meeting there early in the afternoon and I expect we'll head to lunch after. If you, or anyone, can join us for either, great! After that, we really have no plans that I know of. So we can meet people anywhere convenient.

That's why I ask anyone interested to please email met at aldacron@gmail.com and we can work out the details.

Thanks! Wish I could stay more than one night. This is my first trip to Tokyo. I've been to Fukuoka a few times and every time it was only for one night. I need to make an extended trip one of these days.
