Sorry for not noticing earlier, but optlink is still the older 8.00.12
which lacks the fix for #6144

Sigh, yet again Walter sends out a "it's done" email before "it's done".

The files are available from s3 now. Yes, clearly, the automation is incomplete.

Agreed.

Brad, I think this is a great opportunity to collect statistics for the download. Does S3 offer easily-accessible download statistics? If that's not easy to set up, could you please pull the files until we figure something out?

I made some changes to download.dd that change the download site from ftp.digitalmars.com (no statistics) to dlang.org/downloads/ which has statistics enabled.

Will make the download available shortly.

I've updated http://dlang.org/download.html. I've seen some work on changelog generation automation, but can't find it. How do I generate the latest changelog?

That's why I announced it on the dmd-beta mailing list instead of digitalmars.announce

Waiting for you to put them on AWS!

Thank you.

Well that, but also the documentation is bad:

- no styling in HTML/.chm files
- .html files lack the changelog with the list of bugzilla issues
- .html phobos files haven't been updated at all, std.process is the
same as before even though we have a completely new implementation.
The timestamp for all files is dated as 2012.
- .chm file lacks the 2.063 changelog
- .chm file is extremely slow and flashes the screen all the time, I
guess it's probably trying to connect online and run some scripts.
- documentation for dead files is still being distributed
(http://d.puremagic.com/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=6101)).

While I'm happy to get the error reports, I am unhappy that the beta has been out for 2 weeks and I get pasted for things not being "done" when nobody tries it out until the release.

How do I get/build the changelog?

Yah that's a tagging thing.

What is the process to build the .chm files? I think we should figure out a way to build them on Posix - relying on Windows to build is difficult because we don't have the machines.

I'll look into that, thanks.
