In one of my developments I met report:

int	__CLIB vsnprintf(char * __RESTRICT,size_t,const char
*__RESTRICT,va_list);
                    ^
h:\dmc\bin\..\include\../include/stdio.h(280) : Error: illegal combination
of types

What could it be ? Caused by usage of stlport ? Any idea ?

I use stdio.h all the time without this error.

I also use it frequently, and the same source worked fine with earlier versions of DMC. Looks like I need more research.
