I'm seeing "Copyright Newsguy News Service" at the bottom of each page.  It leads to a Web site.

Are they trying to say that all posts are their (C)?  Or are they trying to
attract new business?

It's not clear, also, the statment properly formatted.

After posting, it's kind of a dead end with just a statment about ones post having been made, and of course, again "Copyright Newsguy News Service".

I'm thinking that the following would look better,

Copyright (C) 2004, Peter Tkacz

Actually, the statement is supposed to be something like "Copyright YEAR OR RANGE by NAME OR ENTITY".  The (C) symbol has never held any legal weight at all, although © has.

Anyway, I'm sure it means the news reader not your posts.  Just like forums often have copyright statements at the bottom... except on those you usually have to accept an agreement saying you understand that you own your posts ;).
