Hi,

I had a very nice experiance when I installed D.It was so easy and fast. But the only problem was there was no editor. That was no problem too, I had my fav editor SciTE so I got hold of the D properties file and set it up.Then compiling was fun. Then when I went about working with multiple files, I started getting sick for seeing the default SciTE icon, as it that it opens lots of files like cpp .asm .d etc. For most of the source file I have Icons but not for D.

Then I started searching for icon on my computer, and a D icon was found in the HTML docs,I said cool and made it the icon. Then again I started getting sick because the icon was well did not look like a source file but more like an exe.

So here's the result of me looking for D icons.I made a good one by modifiying the orginal D icon. http://xlock.hostcubix.com/cgi-bin/lwton.cgi?page=tutD_icon

There is a link to the icon in zip file.Go on, grab it and use it.Btw is there and official D source file icon?

Here's the link a simple tutorial I wrote on installing and setting up D (incompleate at present, going to do setting up an editor) http://xlock.hostcubix.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=17#17

Also please sign up for the D forum on Xlock. http://xlock.hostcubix.com/forum/

No, there's no official D source icon. Yours looks nice, though. If you email it to me, I'll stick it in www.digitalmars.com/d/dlinks.html
