Hello, i just found out about D language..

I'd like to know how does the Garbage Collector is suposed to work if there is no VM on this new language.

Regards,

Mel

Magic. :)

It works in the obvious way. Startup code added to your application by the D compiler runs the collection algorithm from time to time. It's not mysterious, and it doesn't need a virtual machine. Each D application gets its own garbage collector.

I don't have a wife, being a girl.
And you think houses are cleaned by women? Oooh, that says a lot about you.

It does? Well women always understand a man differently (HEH), I actually said something good about them, you shouldn't consider them cleaning your house as magic but praise it if they do ;)

I think the problem is not the fact of magic cleaning but of *only* women cleaning the house. That is a hard one since not all women clean house. Although, I can't find any example in real life of that happening. I'm sure it does, it all depends who is wearing the pants and how good of a man the guy is.

I'm not entirely sure this follows, but if W has his way, it may become unconstitutional for you to have one in the future.

I think he was suggesting that houses are cleaned by wives, but all of the cleanest houses I've seen were cleaned by maids.

Translation from femalese: MALE CHAUVINIST PIG

Just out of curiousity, anyone know enough to comment on Jill's cuteness? She already ranks an 11 out of 10 for coolness.

peas.

It was more like this. Imagine my house got cleaned by my wife, the same way the garbage collector cleans my memory, then I shouldn't call it magic for that would be an insult :o.

Arcane Jill, I wonder if that's her real name. Maybe her name is Jill but not 'Arcane' (hence archangel). Rating people reminds me of stupid bar guys though, no offense! Not that I ever went to a bar.

Carrots.
