So anyhoo, I have offered before, but here it is again.

Maybe D's site could use a little bit of graphical help. I would love to help out (for free of course), if Walter wants some help, otherwise, it's all good, just an offer. And if my crap sucks, than there would be no obligation to use it.

Some sites I have done recently (as a consultant)

www.house.gov/bean
www.house.gov/costa
www.techpaths.com

and some for free (not professionally)
www.clanillogic.com
www.ey3dea.com

So yeah, Walter, if you ever need a hand, let me know.

Why not take the D front page and do a mockup?

Looks Nice! Very clean and modern looking, and good use of color.

Hey, really nice work. I have already begun working on this though. Would you like to team up to avoid duplication of effort?

Nice, only nitpick: where are the image-alt tags?

Thanks, guys, it was just a quick scetch made at rest
time. I am not a professional designer but I do
have art education. And this cannot be considered
as something finished. Just visual thoughts.
I think that Trevor will do this way better and
more professionally than me.
(I am using tenth rule of management here :-)

For programmers who are looking for color combinations
for their sites I would recommend this link:
http://www.colormatch.dk/
Tool is not perfect but allows to select harmonised (of course!) colors -
thus to avoid "christmas tree style".

Andrew.

I think you've got some good ideas there.
