I do not know how many of you, fellows, follow TPCI index, but I must say I am _VERY_ happy, as a D programmer, to see D going higher and higher there (which means I could soon search a job as D programmer, as well :).

URL: http://www.tiobe.com/tpci.htm

Mr. Bright and Co. should be proud of themselves.

Kind regards

Yeah, it's already been posted 3-4 times. :)

Yes, but this is the first time it's been posted in the Announcements ng (which is probably where it belongs in the first place). And the other posts didn't mention "tiobe" or "tpci" in the title which would've made them easier to spot ("#19 and climbing" and "D gaining ground!" were a tad cryptic).

Not that I'm complaining about hearing good news more than once. ;)

We all are proud of them!!

And happy for them!

And for D!

---

And most of us are probably (?) also proud of having both spotted in time the winner, and having understood to hang around and contribute enough, so we can feel (at least some of us, within ourselves) that we're contributing to something Genuinely Important.

(And some of us, like I, live in the delusion that it really makes a difference for Mankind whether D prevails or not. -- Illusions of grandeur?? Naw, more like illusions of grandeur of D and Walter. :-)
)
