Could we use the "old" DWT wrapper ? Just had a look and afaik there is not sooo much to change, io/stream, exeption and dll/so handling.

Or do you have other ideas regarding Scintilla ?

Probably possible. It just hasn't been a priority, especially since DWT still hasn't been completely ported.  If you would like to have a go at porting the Scintilla wrapper, that would be great.  If so, please send the result to me or Frank.  If not, I'm very short on time right now, so I don't think I'll be doing it myself right away.
