I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to put up my slides before the talk. And when. On the day of the talk? Today? Tomorrow (Start of the Conference)?

I assume if you wanted to do this you would simply do a PR to the dconf.org site on GitHub?

It could be nice to have them available in case the livestream doesn't show them very well (bad angle or blown out projection).
