Most likely because D tooling is still not up to speed with what C and C++ provide.

I'm sure he probably will elaborate at some point, in some place, but I'm quite anxious in the meantime :) Come to think of it, I'm sure the lack of game console targets would be at least one factor. Not so sure about "employer resistance" though. *Technically*, he's just an employee, not CEO or anything (IIRC), but it's a very unique case: He's been known to have more power there than his "superiors", at least when he chooses to wield it. |
