Sure, as long as you're cautious and regard those functions as unsafe, you may be fine. You still risk accidentally writing unsafe code that's marked @safe, but that's up to you.

But when you show such code in the learn group, I think it's important to point out that this usage of @trusted is wrong. If only to warn newbies about it.
