Hi All,

I am just starting my D adventure, I chose D over Go ! I think it will kool to have some marketing behind D. A mascot "Dragon" will look good ?

Shh...you're going to hurt D Man's feelings: http://dlang.org/images/d3.gif

LLVM already uses a dragon very similar to that. I don't really think D needs a mascot, personally.

D man is fun, but ugly. However, the dragoon is already used, and I think it is better to have a friendly mascot, this dragon look sharp and agile, but not very friendly :D

BTW, having a nice mascot for D is something I definitively think is good.

Honestly I think having a planet and its moons for »mascots« is amazing enough!

Hi, Adam,

I must say that this dragon look very much like a mascot for the BackTrack, a penetration testing distro:

This inspired me to hack some povray code to model better D man (3-D
man?). I'll post something when I get it ready for consumption. :-)
