I didn't use any of both it, so this raises the question...
Why you thinking that it is crap? What advantages have dfl2?

And: "dfl2 is a GUI library for windows". It's Windows only. And Dlang UI: "Crossplatform (Win32 and Linux are supported in current version)".

I think the post might have been a sarcastic way of pointing out that FrankLike created a number of question/announcement threads related to GUI libraries in the past, without following up on any of them.

It's gotten to the point that I just ignore threads by FrankLike, as it's inevitably the same questions about what GUI library to use.

If we also consider window creation Devisualization.Window works on Windows, Linux and OSX. I don't think even DWT can do that.
