I think DlangIde should gain support from D foundation, to become a future part of the distribution like DUB. So in the end there might be one package (with batteries included :-)) to get started with D, with just one download.

My suggestion is to place a special D Foundation donate button for several highly useful projects to collect money and attract more resources to improve them faster.

I agree with you. I think that community members should choose one IDE by voting and donate money to IDE developers. For example, we will choose winner in 2017 among existing crossplatform solutions (aka IDE of the year). Then we will donate to the team for some period. The most wanted feature is a refactoring server (IMHO), which can be shared among different IDEs.
