Question #1:     If I set the Target CPU to "Pentium", does it mean that it will optimize the code for Pentium 1 only or for all the pentium - class processors?

Question #2:     Does it make a difference (in speed) if I use Double Word Allignment or Quadriple Word Allignment for Structures?

Pentium 1. Using -6 will target the Pentium II. -6 works well with Pentium III, too.

That all depends on your particular hardware architecture. The best way to tell is to try it both ways and time it.
