Everyone is invited to visit my newly added "D Language section," on my personal web page. Just look for the D Logo at the bottom left-hand side of the main "StarGate" portal image... and you're in. :)) I hope you-all enjoy your visit!

That is cool, I registered the domain, http://www.dprogramming.info a while ago. I haven't put any content on the site yet nor do I plan to anytime soon. To many projects do I have on my plate. Seeing as there are well enough great tutorials out there, I may just design it like Game Programming Dev web site. It would nice to put a FAQ for all the fools out there. Plus, have a better designed documentation section (of course WIKI is good as the PDF allows you to search but it is that of the web site which could have a better layout.

Before the mob comes, I'll say that maybe the developer isn't the best web designer (as in 1999, frames were a big thing); looking at the presentation can tell you that. Better Programmer, than web designer. I'm also sad because I'm neither a good programmer, designer (of any sort), nor graphics professional. So maybe I'm jealous but still... I'm done, I think the mob has arrived and I'm sure they are going to give me a damn good beating.

Cool! You've got a lot of great content on your website.

I noticed that some images weren't being displayed in Mozilla Firefox. (Internet Explorer shows all of the images.)

I think if you change the way the images are referenced (change "\" to "/"), it'll work right for all browsers. For example:
images\d_language-button.gif --> images/d_language-button.gif

By the way, I've put links to your page on a couple of place in Wiki4D, so that people can still locate it in the future:

J C Calvarese: Thanks so much for the kind comments, and for adding the links onto the Wiki4D site. I'll get to work replacing all the those "\"s to "/"s tonight...darn my habit of using MS-DOS 3.2/6.22 - Windows 3.0 thru WinME - WinNT/XP directory style "\"s on my webpages. Thanks for pointing it out. :))

P.S. It's my plan to continue to add new content at least every 2 weeks ( a month at the latest )...so please stop by often.

I have nothing to sqy about your web site content, because i didn't read it. Then why do I write? to say why i didn't read it.

Looking for information on a programming language is a perfectly normal activity at work, for someone whose job is programming. Therefore, I read stuff about D in the office, which brought me to your web page. But upon entering your site, the speakers of my pc, whose usual activity is to say "Dong" when windows does something strange, started to play music. You might like this music, but what makes you think every one who wants to read about the various stuff on your web site is in a situation where he will enjoy music? Well that was not my case. Ok, i could have turned of the sound. but only _after_ i realize that there is sound.

You'd better remove the music, or at least, dont load it automaticaly, and add a link or a button like "click here to turn on back ground music".

But that's just my opinion.

Florian RIVOAL: Thxs for taking the time to give me some feedback. Well, I'm really sorry to hear that I shocked you at work! :( Guess I should've put a warning in my message that I had music on the main front page of my Art Site. Tis my mistake, I guess I really should've just pointed people directly into the "D" section of the my site with this link: http://spottedtiger.tripod.com/D_Language/D_Main_XP.html (Which by the way, will never have music added to it). So if you'll care to try again, please do...you just might find something useful.

And as far as removing the music from the main part of my site, I don't see that happening anytime soon. I've had music on the main front page for over five years now, and I enjoy changing it every two weeks to a month. But thanks for sharing your opinion on the subject.
