Posted in reply to Walter | Any chance of the FTP server time out being bumped up a little. On net-busy days, it can be literally seconds of available selection time between the logon coming back and the timeout happening. Needless to say, this is very annoying. My guess is that the current timeout is 60s. Would it being changed to 120s be detrimental to system performance/security/whatever? Posted in reply to Matthew | A better choice would be to download files through HTTP. http://ftp.digitalmars.com/ The number of connections HTTP can handle is much higher than what FTP can handle at this moment. Of course the server does currently not display the content, however... http://ftp.digitalmars.com/dmd.zip Should work like a charm... Thanks!
