Hello!

I urgently need to connect to gnuplot and found some code samples which use _popen, _pclose, setbuf

I also found, that _popen can be found in MS-VC stdio.h

Trying the sample with my dmc-Installation results in _popen not to be found (undefined identifier '_popen')

grepping through the include directory results in something found in tchar.h and in stdio.h, but #defined there only for unixes.

Is there a workaround, do I need an newer version or do I have to switch to MS-Compiler?

Yours sincerely

Johann Muelleder

P.S.: I bought a CD, yes! Version 8.38d.
And I will allways ask myself who had the idea of cutting off the edges of
Zortech compiler disks in order to get the updates...

I have a version that works with MSVC

It can be found at http://peterblockley.tripod.com/software.htm

Hope that helps
