Hi,

I have a problem with visual studio integrated shell 2012 and Visual D.

Auto-completion doesn't work. I try with 0.3.36 and 0.3.37 version same problem.

When I see this 3 years old screenshot :

http://www.dsource.org/projects/visuald/attachment/wiki/ScreenShots/completion.png

It looks like a configuration problem on my PC.

Do you know how to enable auto-completion ?

Thanks ahead :)

Maybe the auto-completion trigger isn't setup as you expect. Please check the options on the settings page. You can open it via "Open Language Options" from the Visual D Menu.

I'm not sure we are talking about the same options. I mean the settings in this dialog:

http://www.dsource.org/projects/visuald/browser/wiki/intellisense_options.png
October 04, 2013
I have the sames parameters.

I try also with mono-D and the same problems but, I can enable auto-complete if I download : dmd D 2.0 compiler, all platforms ans add search path like this screen :

http://mono-d.alexanderbothe.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/mono-d-compiler-toolchain.png

I can try the same thing on visual-D but I don't know where is it.

with dmd D 2.0 compiler 1-click install for Windows

that not work :(

Ah ok, Visual D doesn't find the import paths. If you haven't set the path to dmd during installation, you can set it under "Tools->Options->Projects and Solutions->Visual D Settings->DMD Directories".
Please note that "windows\bin" should not be included in the specified path.

Have a nice day.

I highly recommand to use "dmd D 2.0 compiler, all platforms" and not the one "click install for windows".

Good to hear it now works.

You should not have to add the import and library paths, these are read from the sc.ini found in the same directory as dmd.exe.

I can't understand I remove filepath and that work. Before I have the same parameters and auto-complete doesn't work.

does add this paths update automatically sc.ini ?
