A new patch version was just released, mainly to fix a bad compile-time regression, but Johan also tackled challenges wrt. stack limits:

  • Fix potentially huge compile slowdowns with -g and LLVM 15+.
  • New CLI option --fwarn-stack-size=<threshold>.
  • New CLI option --fsplit-stack for incremental stack allocations, see https://llvm.org/docs/SegmentedStacks.html.
  • New CLI option --indent for the timetrace2txt tool.
