DosBox is possible but I can't see whether or not Empire will work, and receive all the keystrokes from the keyboard such as the numeric keypad used for direction movement.

I play Empire Wargame of the Century on my Macbook Pro, it runs on the Web via Dosbox.

It's a time warp, you're suddenly thrust into DOS, dealing with DOS commands. My Unix is better than my DOS, at this point, but the logic & structure are still the same. You might need to navigate DOS a little, but once you're up, it seems DOSBOX saves your games, and keeps track of your record.

You will need the manual! Here's a crappy scan, but the only one I found, seems to work well enough. https://dl.myabandonware.com/f/53s/Empire-Wargame-of-the-Century_Manual_DOS_EN.pdf

Most keystrokes work well, but some are mapped to the Mac OSX, but you can still access them via the Empire menu. Plays just like it did back in the olden days.
