May I have an invitation for snarwin@gmail?

True. We should consolidate talk platforms. It's far too chaotic.
And there's a Facebook? Seriously?
And Slack? Seriously? That's where I have to sacrifice 1GB of RAM to? Discord has the featureset of Slack.
I use Discord for real time communications, quick questions, and off-topic things. Sort of similar to IRC.
Did you mean to say we have two IRCs?

The places new people come on for chat is just the irc and the discord. |

So I think some kind of user account is useful and I figure I'll require them... but it will be just a random username+password rather than a required email or whatever. Simply set your browser to auto fill and it should be pretty painless...
would that be good enough for you?

I personally use discord (only recently) and slack (local community) but there're Facebook people too. All have their different feel and audience. |

Yeah, I did tell the dconf people I'd do a livestream thing if they need me, but I was thinking about making an Asteroids clone or something then porting it to webassembly like I did with tetris so I could talk about the library etc too.
But a web site is tempting as well, just not sure I could actually do something useful with it in under 90 mins. I can surely slap something together and talk about the code but I prefer having a real goal and those often take me a longer time.
Later today though I will post a blog about the source code to this new thing. There's actually not much to it, it just looks a bit longer than it is because I did a lot of copy/paste lol
