Are you still talking about the edited version? I tried to time showing the slides when he's actually talking about them, and for the code snippets I highlighted the lines he's referring to. I didn't like the random switching in the livestream (which is what the recorded version is), which is why I decided to edit.

I agree that the Facebook conference was very well done, they had cameras and camera operators everywhere.

But in general, I think a video stream of the screenshare, a stream of the person talking (and only that), a stream of the whole stage, and if possible, video streams of each questioner would be a great raw source to start with.

I've seen other conference streams where the image of the speaker is very narrow, and therefore they can consume most of the screen with the slides. I think that's ideal.

The speaker can get more space at the start, at the end, and occasionally as he/she is not talking directly on any slide. Other than that, I think Mike is overdoing a great work! ;) Ali

I don't disagree with the slides on the screen, my problem was when showing this way: https://imgur.com/1LeGPRd , for example I was reading the slide normally live until the screen would split and now 2 tiny texts (Remembering: For me watching on the phone with vision impairment it was tough), and still is since I do it mostly on phone while I'm doing interval at work. I think one or another should be used, but the original video was enough/readable as is (At least for me) without that split. Matheus.

Okay. I thought that by cutting to the split view in my edits, I was making the slide more legible. I actually had you in mind when I did it. It looks bigger and clearer to me than what is head on in the raw video footage, and definitely bigger than what they did in the livestream. Most of them are pretty big in the raw video, but I'm showing a full screen view of each slide anyway for varying periods of time based on what he's saying. I hope this one turns out better for you.
