Hmm, I just tested it on https://run.dlang.io/, and apparently it compiles and runs on all versions of dmd from 2.060 to 2.081.1. How did I *not* know about this feature all this time?! I'm pretty sure it's worked for a long time. I remember Bearophile asking for it a few years ago, and I'm pretty sure it was Kenji that implemented it.
