Did you read the comment about the GTK_BASEPATH because of a bug it currently...

There seems to be a small bug in the code so that it fails is...

did you compiled yout "hello" program to 32-bit or 64-bit? did you install...

I installed GTK+ 3 developer tools and GTK+3 runtime.

I installed all in one bundle.
