Using tilda in the qualifier part of the version is not acceptable. I thought I was clear about this. Well, at least for RedHat/CentOS/Fedora/(open)SuSE/Mageia - I do not know about other distributions...

Speaking about Fedora, DMD will never get into their official repository. I've spoken to them. Even the RPMFusion guys were sceptical. Reason is simple, every new mirror would need to request permission from Walter to distribute DMD backend.

Ask them to get in contact with me to see what can be done to fix this.

Perhaps they are being too picky. Walter gave permission to FreeBSD ports in a single email and they distribute the dmd zip from their mirror as a backup, though I'm not sure how many other mirrors they use for this. I think it might even be bundled up in the official CD, which is probably distributed across many mirrors.

Confirming the fix. Status has already been updated by Martin Nowak.

February 18, 2014
To avoid confusion:
It is not Fedora people who are not willing to help. Problem is with
mirrors.

Imagine personX or companyX decides to become mirror of distribution which has DMD in their official repository. Before they sync Fedora packages, they have to ask permissions of all DMD (and similar) copyright owners for distribution permission. Now Imagine there are hundreds of DMD-like packages in there... Therefore no serious distribution will accept DMD-like package in their repository.

This is a great release! First time I have run the test suite for our library and everything worked since 2.063.2. Thank you all for your continued hard work.

Bugzilla regressions 6329, 11114 and 11946 have been around for a few releases.

Not sure 11972 is even a regression.

12167 is possibly invalid.

12190 is shared libraries on OSX, which is not officially supported yet.

12193 is open.
