Just out of curiosity, have you looked into Vibe.d for this?
I've created a couple prototypes with it and they came out pretty
good.  Sonke is also pretty good about responding to issues as
you find them.

Just so happens my web service framework Cmsed is built using it.
No, its not what I am meaning.
Its far too low level, its essentially a web server.

What's needed is a higher level view of web services and how they work.
