Posted in reply to Walter | Shall I get these files through your website, as soon as they will be available?? |

Posted in reply to Heinz-Peter Nuettgens | I'm sorry, Microsoft News Software lost the precedent to this message. Please remind me which files? -Walter "Heinz-Peter Nuettgens" <hnuettgens@t-online.de> wrote in message news:a2loca$1e6s$1@digitaldaemon.com... > Shall I get these files through your website, as soon as they will be available?? > > > |

Posted in reply to Walter | Hi, the files I asked for are winfax.h and winfax.lib which support the winfax.dll (Windows NT FAX API Support DLL). Posted in reply to Heinz-Peter Nuettgens | I don't have either file. If I do get them, I'll see about supporting them. -Walter "Heinz-Peter Nuettgens" <hnuettgens@t-online.de> wrote in message news:a2oko9$es5$1@digitaldaemon.com... > Hi, > > the files I asked for are winfax.h and winfax.lib which support the winfax.dll (Windows NT FAX API Support DLL). > > > "Walter" <walter@digitalmars.com> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:a2nodf$2s2j$1@digitaldaemon.com... > > I'm sorry, Microsoft News Software lost the precedent to this message. June 01, 2002 Typedefs. | ||||

Posted in reply to Walter | I am trying to do a typedef that I used to be able to do with another compiler. it is: typedef char[80] char80; with the result to create a type that causes the compiler to create/reference an 80 character sized memory space of type char. I think I may have the syntax wrong, but can the above be done with the DigitalMars compiler? I have done typedef struct { char item[80]; } char80; but this is not so simple under some circumstances in accessing the data. With byte alignment, the above struct works fine though with many functions that use void * or with casting (ugh). What say you folks to this and am I too far left or right of standards? |

| Thank you. That worked fine. Have you used Outlook 6.0 to work with newgroups? I cannot get a message (question) to post as a root message. It always is posting as a reply. Thanks!
