For some reason when I try to edit my RC files with the resource editor it freezes.

If I use the resource editor right after booting up my machine it usually works, and it may work for a few more loads. After the fourth load it will just freeze up after loading the main window (outline and caption bar only)

This only happens under ME. My older computer (486 133mhz 32MB) has no problem at all with the program but I prefer to use the faster (950 Athlon 256MB) to work with. As it is my programs take about 1 minute to compile on the fast machine and 5+ minutes on the slow one...

Check some other messages around here.
This might have to do with some Win32 system .DLL's that are not new enough.

It also happened to me, but it started working normally after applying the latest security pathes from Windows Update.
