Hi, ok I know it's mostly a wish --- but maybe there exists a version of DMC that can be used for PocketPC development?

That's MS operating system running on PDAs like IPaq, Jornada etc. They have Windows CE as well. This seems to be the embedded version more directed into the realtime-OS market. MS offers visual C++ for these platforms for free because the PDAs have ARM, MIPS (old ones) and SH processors.

I use DMC to compile for testing and debugging in de emulator which runs on a
PC.
For the real ARM/MIPS output I use the GNU derivate from http://www.symbian.com/
