Hi folks,

Surely someone used Qt toolkit both in Windows and Linux.
I have several questions:

1) What is Qt: thin GUI layer, or full GUI environment?
2) Does Qt application look essentially the same in Windows and in Linux?
3) Does Qt use the same GUI rules both in Windows and in Linux?
4) What compilers are used to compile Qt in Windows and in Linux?
5) Does Qt provide support for any GUI rules (e.g. right mouse clicks on
buttons) or it is restricted to it's own idioms?

Thanks ahead,
Sincerely yours.

Nic Tiger.

Take a look at their website http://www.trolltech.com

And compare Opera for windows with Opera for Linux/FreeBSD http:/www.opera.com

There is a 30 day evaluation download available. And also the 2.3.0 Non Commercial version for VC is available.

1. Full Gui
2. Yes
3. ?? Yes I guess
4. VC & Borland native, but I guess it is possible to make it work with DMC, intel en gcc on Unix
5. ?? Yes I guess
