Hi.

I've thougth about putting a banner server on my web page (when I release new versions of some of my programs I get about 1000 mostly geeks visits/day), nothing commercial just for promoting some (mostly free) projects I would like people to know about. One of those projects is of course D so the question is: Has anybody with more artistic/marketing instinct that me created a banner (standart size) for this project? I could try to do one in Gimp but as I say marketing instinct is not one of my gifts, but I would accept short and shocking slogans as a base for one on this thread.

Let's see what people come with :-)

Good idea. I'm not particularly artistic, but I took a stab at the challenge:

By the way, I don't know if 468x60 is a standard size, but I've made quite a few banners recently that size.

Nice! I've added it to my bannerserver (at the bottom of each page), for
example:

Juanjo: Here's a couple I came up with...the graphic one may be too simple and too large, but I gave it a try. :)) You're welcome to use them both if you'll like to...they're free to anyone.

The "The race is on, turbocharge your development with D!!" is great, though the text is barely readable. I'd suggest changing the font / its props

Hehe I like the style :) I'll also put those banners (the thing supports banner rotation) and I'll make shortly a gallery with all the banners received and post the link here.

I've put a page with all the (currently three) banners people has posted here. You can also see that I'm already using them at the bottom of every page :)

More banners please! :)

Cool idea, you should've used a drag racing car (?) though. :-)
