To Mr. Bight:

When will you create a D compiler/IDE for Mac? I am very interested in the possibilities of this language, and I am a devoted Mac user. I also suggest you try to do something to raise your profile, to ensure D's future as a replacement for C++.

Unless the OP means Mac OS 9, it should do fine.
(OK, you need to have at least "Jaguar" or later)

As for IDEs, on Mac OS X there's always Xcode ?
Integration is not perfect, but it works "OK"...

See http://gdcmac.sourceforge.net/xcode.html
(in the process of being updated for Xcode 2)

Hi Lorinc Del Motte,

> When will you create a D compiler ... for Mac?

D Programming Language 1.040 GM (dmd) compiler is now available for OS X! Woot! Thank you Walter!

http://ftp.digitalmars.com/dmd.1.040.zip

D Programming Language 2.025 alpha (dmd) compiler is now available for OS X 10.5! Woot! Thank you Walter!

http://ftp.digitalmars.com/dmd.2.025.zip

Unexpected and very appreciated!

(That means there are 3 D compilers available for OS X: gdc, ldc, and now dmd itself!)

I use vi (Vim).
