Hi,

I just navigated to https://gentoo.org (home of Gentoo Linux), and among the scarce news items on the front page, the topmost is about Gentoo and Google Summer of Code.  It links to two detailed pages on how and why to get involved.

The thought is: maybe GSoC deserves a place on the front page of dlang.org as well?  It could fit under Contribute, or maybe a separate section closer to the top.

That sounds like a good suggestion.  I've been doing GSoC stuff mostly on the Wiki, but having something on the main site would be good advertising for the future.
